I was thinking of running or jogging but I can't for long because my one leg feels like metal and hurts plus I have asthma and I am worried I might have an attack any suggestions

The key is to start small. If you haven't discovered it already, check out the Run Walk Method and Couch to 5k programs.
If you can't run fast, run slow, if you can't run slow, walk fast, if you can't walk fast, walk slow. The key is to get up and move.
It'll take time. It'll take dedication. But it is possible.
I'm not sure what you mean by your one leg feeling like "metal" but if it hurts you may want to go to the doctor. Ask if physical therapy is an option.
For asthma, run with your inhaler.
