P90X - Kenpo

I just can't get this as a cardio work out. My avg on my HRM was at 119 - but - I added 15 minute of elliptical to get that. I'm at about 60-70% of my maximum heart rate on average on a kenpo work out. On Plyo I'm at 85%. for the average.
What am I doing wrong? I feel like I'm working hard, but that's because during the rest periods I'm getting my HR up there.
Should I switch up for Cardio X?

i average about 400+ cals burned during kenpo heart rate usually around between 115 and 140 i'd say just keep at it, its not as high a burn as plyo but its still good. plus cardio x has 20 min of kenpo in it any way0

The cardio in P90X is terrible. I like the weight videos and how they target the muscles, but if you want a good cardio work out try INSANITY. It is much better. I'll do P90X for weight days and Insanity for cardio days. It is also put out by beach body.0
