Heart rate monitor (Polar)

Hello girls and guys!
I just bought a Polar FT7 HRM to track my heart rate and expended calories.
Can I ask if there's any difference between the time in fat burn range and fitness range?
The FT7 splits the total duration into fat burn and fitness session. My total expended Kcal is 305 in 24 min on an eliptical machine mid-high intensity. If my aim is to purely see the needle on the scale go down, I can just keep my HR at about 70-80% right?
Hope to clear some air on the "Fat burn zone" and "Fitness" zone.
Thanks!

if you want to see the needle on the scale go down, concentrate on the quantity and quality of food you eat.
Working at a higher intensity should promote a quicker weight loss if your diet is good, forget the fat zone/ fitness zone stuff,
eat right and workout as hard as you can.0 -
Got it! Thanks!0
