I am so happy that I found this site. Its very comprehensive and I love the reporting features. I couldnt ask for anything better... and its FREE!
My goal is to loose 30 pounds by the end of May. I know diet and exercise are key . . . but I am also a firm beliver in mini-rewards if I meet my goals, and "punishments" if I don't. For example, my goal this month is to loose 8 pounds by 1/31. If I attain my goal, I will treat myself to a facial and new make-up. If I don't, I will "punish" myself by not having any wine for 10 days.
Feel free to introduce yourself. Hopefully we can inspire eachother. I haven't quite figured out the "Friends" aspect of this yet - so if you can give me a tip on how to add, that would be great.

Welcome! You are definetely coming into this with the right attitude! I totally believe in the reward and punishment theory! It helps motivate me a lot! This site is great! I started here in November and even with a little draw back over the holidays, I have lost a total of 12 pounds. I still have another 35-40 to go, but I'm definetely on the right path! And you are too...you have taken the first step! This site, as long as you USE it, is very helpful at making you aware of what you are consuming as well as the exercise you are doing. And the community here is great...very supportive and motivational! Tennessee girl here, too. (Chattanooga) I'm so glad you're here. I love your outlook. Your small goals have inspired me to do the same. I kind of like to have things very organized and down to a science. Your way sounds perfect for me. I've kinda been going about my goals too generally. Thanks for the inspiration.0
