Are you sedentary? 1660 sedentary is not bad. 5'11" guy here, weigh 175ish and I eat about 1650-1700 a day while doing 4 days of weight lifting and about 20km a week of running.

Depending on how much you have to lose, you probably shouldn't be aiming to lose 2lbs/week. It's an unrealistic number unless you're significantly overweight. If you adjust it to lose 1lb, that's an automatic 500 more calories you'll get per day.

MFP will drop your calories when you update your goals. If I remember correctly when I lost the first 10 pounds it dropped me like 100 calories or something? I do not recall exactly, but it was gradual enough I didn't feel deprived. Good luck!

1800 for male, 1200 for female i believe, not entirely sure though. im pretty sure TDEE is an exponential function, not linear, so it eventually hits a point where it can no longer be lowered once you reach a low enough weight, but MFP wont allow calories below certain points for liability reasons
