If I were to guess, I'd say no and assume it were someplace in Colorado. :flowerforyou:0

"For instance, Alaska could be regarded as the highest state because Mount McKinley, at 20,237 ft (6,168 m), is the highest point in the United States. However, Colorado, with the highest mean elevation of any state as well as the highest low point, could also be considered a candidate for "highest state"0

The highest point in San Francisco is 925 ft. above sea level.
The official elevation of Denver is 5,280 ft. above sea level.
So... no.0 -
All I can say is... WOW...0

No. The highest elevation in the US is the top of Mt. McKinley (Danali) in Alaska at 20,236 feet . The highest in the contiguous 48 states is the top of Mt. Whitney in California at 14, 505 feet. The highest elevation in San Francisco is the top of Mt. Davidson at only 928 feet.

Alaska hands down has most of the highest peaks, followed by Colorado, but Mount Whitney in California has the highest mountain peak in the contiguous States.

Well, even though Alaska has a taller mountain, I'd say Colorado is the "highest" both by average elevation and otherwise now that MaryJ is legalized0

oo- oo -- had to look up "sapiophillic." Oh, yeah, brains are sexy!! I guess I'm a sapiophile, too. That's why I love hubby. He looks for the Fibonacci sequence and natural primes among the numbers in fortune cookies.0 -

Are you talking about elevation or under the influence of Marijuana? I think Colorado wins both categories.0
