So I have read all kinds of wonderful things about hemp seeds and have started using them in my yogurt, protein shakes, on top of salad and even right out of the bag. I am a little weary of the calories @ 170 per three tablespoons, so I've been using just a small sprinkling. They are quite good.

Has anyone else been using them? Any health improvements as a result? Any bad news?

Thanks!

I think you are supposed to smoke them or bake them in brownies, but that is cool, whatever you like. :)

    Hahahaha...!
Yeah I did read that they do contain trace elements of THC but in the seed I guess there is another element that kind of eliminates the effect of the THC so... oh well.

Well...technically hemp is the male plant seed and even when grown will not flower as a female would to produce buds. However, nutrition wise Hemp seeds are very good for you, high in Omega 3s and vitamins. I do recommend the female plant counterpart as a recovery supplement in your routine, though. Dialates blood vessels and puts the body in an anabolic state.
