Sitting down vs. standing up...

So I noticed that my clothes fit when I am standing up, but are more tight when I sit down and more noticeable after eating. Why is this? Can anyone relate or give explanation?

Truth. And when I stand up in an airplane, my pants are so loose they pretty much fall right off me.
