Are you REALLY hungry, or just dehydrated?

One of the worst symptoms to come with restricting your calories is hunger pangs. Interestingly enough, they are not always caused by hunger. Sometimes your body is really telling you that you are THIRSTY. I have found that drinking a couple of glasses of water and then waiting 15-20 minutes, helps me distinguish real hunger from thirst. If after the 15-20 minute wait, you are okay - then you were actually thirsty, not hungry. Try it!

Makes sense, I am big on hitting or exceeding 8 cups of water everyday. I don't think people realize how much better you feel when properly hydrated.0
