I went over... a little.

Hey there! I was just wondering whether or not going over my sugar by 2g is going to hurt the scale or make me gain? This is the only time that I have gone over since I began on Christmas Eve. I might be a little paranoid, I mean, I've seen people go over by 10 and 20, but I'd still like to know. Thanks!

2g one time is not going to be a problem. It's not that much. Don't stress.0

Ah! Okay! THANK YOU!0

If it makes you feel better I go over every day guaranteed due to the sugars in my fruits and breads0

And you should ONLY be counting "added" sugar. If it's on the package as an ingredient it counts. If it is natural as in fruits or vegetables, it does not. So the sugar in "no sugar added" orange juice should be ignored.
To figure out how much sugar should be your limit take your allowed calories x 10% then divide by four. So - 1200 x 10% = 120 / 4 = 30 grams of "added" sugar per day.0 -
I go over by as much as 98 some days... =o but I tend not to worry as the majority is from fruit and I still manage to lose weight :]0

I go over a lot due to eating fruit. I don't worry about it. I've lost weight.0

No. The only time you will gain fat is if you go over 3500 calories in one week. 3500 calories is one pound. You have a deficit set for you by MFP... if you go over on your calories one time - or go over your sugar 2g one time - you won't gain weight.0
