With foods from most/all typical food groups with thought to the overall diet's macro and micro nutrition and one's personal goal for overall health, weight goal, and daily fitness goals?

a balanced diet is a cookie in each hand.0

Speaking of balanced diets.. I have heard that your biggest meal (calorie and amount of food) should be breakfast and the meals should get smaller from there, is that true? Or does it even matter. I have a hard time eating anything in the mornings even after working out. So, I can't imagine getting up and eating this great big meal.0

It doesn't matter. Eat when your hungry, stay within your calorie allotment.0 -

Like that works.
I eliminate food groups based on whatever diet is popular at the moment.

But then what would I have to talk about at the water cooler when the topic of the coolest, newest fad diet comes up? You are trying to make me an outcast!!   :sad:0 -

YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT!
It's based on science and a long history of dieting that only became popular three years ago. Totally legit!
Can I eat ice cream!?0 -

How awesome last night's pizza was? :laugh:0 -
I tried to eat an apple that had a banana sitting on top at the same time but it fell apart. Now I just blend them together....problem solved.

But my 5 bites included shoving 5 whole chicken tenders into my mouth. I'm guessing that's not how it works....0

What macros would you recommend for fat-loss?
I guess I don't know what a balanced diet is. :-(
I exercise 5-6 times a week, take in about 1,700 kcal per day.
ETA: And what is the reasoning behind your answer, as well. It's OK if it's just how you were taught or standard recommendation across the board, I just want to know where everyone is coming from.0 -

Silly fad diet, this one can't last long, can it?0

The best part of this whole thing is that Oz used ol' five bites as an example of a horrible effing idea.
--the fact that he's bringing it up at all and thus granting it a shade of legitimacy is an entirely different story. See: congressional hearing.0 -
OMG the 5 bite thread bled over to here......

I have the same amount of food in each hand... does that count?
If so that may be why I'm still fat....0 -

Edit: Nevermind, found it. So wait a minute, this is a thing? What if I can eat a whole slice of pizza in one bite? Then do I get to say "I've tried everything and NOTHING WORKS" when I fail?0 -
That's the one I do for 7 days, right?0

You guys are the best! Can I log my calories from laughing so hard?0
