Ripped in 30!

Good Morning Everyone!

So I have decided to join myfitnesspal to see if anyone is in the same predicament as me!
So I have been doing 30 day shred 5 times a week and started to see results in toning and inches (please see my profile for pictures) So I decided to pick it up a notch with the Ripped in 30 which is prooving to be a lot more challening. I am feeling sore in muscles I didnt even know I had which is great!! The only thing is I have maintained my weight of 73-74 kgs for the same amount of weeks i have been exercising. Can some one tell me how do I loose the weight? Should I incorporate some cardio? As i am just doing the Ripped in 30 DVD??? Also does anyone have any advice on fat burning supplements? Do they work?
Thank you for taking the time to read this!!

Hi Sarah important is your caloric intake has to be reduced but not too much and high intensity carido, not long drawn out ones, like sprinting, for example but you have to give your all for short bursts, incorporated with weight training and calorie deficit, you will se results.

    Hi Sarah,

I'm doing 30 Day Shred and planning Ripped in 30 next (Starting July 3rd).
I'm seeing results as well. I already lost 36cm and 1,8kg since the beginning. (I'm 1.63m, 65.3kg currently)
My calories are set to 1450, but what I aim for is the 1200NET minimum a day, so I eat some of the exercise calories.

How tall are you, and what is your current calories intake?

    Kisses,
    Tatyanne

Hey, I have six days to go on the 30 DS. I am a huge fan! Not of the daily torture, but of the amazing results. I used to go to the gym 3-4 times a week for at least one hour and only started seeing similar results after 3 months. For me there's never much change in weight, because I build up muscle easily.

The ripped in 30 DVD is already on my desk and I will start on July 3rd too :)

I am 1,67m and weigh 79kg (lost 1,6 since starting 30 DS). I stick to about 1800 cals per day; 40% carbs, 35% protein, 25% fat. Sticking to the macros is harder for me than sticking to the cals. I think you shouldn't go on a very low cal diet while exercising a lot. I am for a long term change and not for a rapid weight loss.
  • Thanks for the replies :)

    I am 5ft 8 inches (173cm), and weigh about 73kg!
Really would love to get to 68kg but I have been on the same weight for about 6 months!!

My calorie intake varies but I aim for 1400- 1500

Ripped in 30 is amazing!! I am to seeing better results through this DVD then i ever did at the gym just goes to show hey?

I get much better results than in the gym with 30 DS too. In your photos you look very fit, so I wouldn't worry too much about the weight loss. You could try eating a little more. It's sounds weird, but it worked for me.
