Starting my weight loss journey

Hello all! I recently started my journey to lose a couple of pounds. I am not excessively overweight. I just recently went to go see my doctor. I told her I was trying to make better choices and I was doing 1200 calories a day. I am 5'5" and weigh 160lbs. She said that calorie count was too low. She said aim for 1500 calories and of course exercise. I feel like this is a great plan. I can't wait to get back to the weight I was a few years ago. Hope to make a few friends on this board.

    Hello Jane! :) Nice to meet you :) I think 1500 is very doable and honestly I would plug your stats into MFP and see what they say too :) Best of luck on your journey :happy:
