Doe anyone know how many calories are in homemade cashew milk? The recipe I have soaks 1 C nuts in 2 C water. There is nut meal left over to use for something else so it does actually go in the milk. Any thoughts?

    nods...

Back to the question. I thought you needed to blend them too at some point. My Vitamix came with some recipes for making almond milk.

In for answers. I have been wondering this myself. Would love to be able to figure out the calculations because I know it is higher in cal than the store brand stuff.

The nut meal can stay in the milk or be strained out
