Does the Myfitnesspal Iphone app also take in conclusion that Proteins are 4kcal, Carbs 4kcal and Fats are 9kcal?

It depends on the accuracy of the database, which depends on the accuracy of the user entering the food, which depends on the accuracy of the nutrition facts on that food. So...yes? Wait, it depends.0

I do notice that sometimes my calories are different on the iPhone app than on the web site. I think that there might be rounding errors in one place or the other, from partial portions and such. I haven't looked at it rigorously, though.0

How do you scan meat and produce?0 -
Some of my meat and produce will scan in, especially if I buy from a national chain such as Kroger.
Scanning isn't always accurate...make sure you double check it. I had blueberries come up as beer one time.0
