fish n vegetables slow cooker

3 fillets about 1 lb cut into 2 inch pieces flounder or re snapper
2 tbs olive oil
1 clove garlic minced
1 large onion sliced
1 green bell pepper seeded cut into 1 inch pieces
2 zucchini unpeeled sliced wash n cleaned
1 can 14 1/2 oz whole tomatoes
1/2 tsp basil
1/2 tsp oregano
1 tsp of salt 1/2 tsp of pepper
1/4 cup of dry white wine
combine all ingredients into crock stir thoroughly cover cook on high 4 -6 hours

    I was JUST wondering if fish would work in a slow cooker! So, this sort of sounds like it ends up as a soup almost? Because of the juices from the veggies, is my thought. Looking at it again, not so much. Maybe closer to a stir fry as far as dish texture?
