Help with Calorie deficit

I am a pretty large guy(275). MFP has me eating 1700 calories a day for 2 lbs a week loss (at almost 30 lbs lost already)
First, I am having issues getting to 1700 calories and not really wanting to eat...as in not hungry and nothing sounds good (for what ever reason, my appetite really took to eating less and healthier). So first question, does it hurt to eat like 1300-1400 pretty regularly if I am just not hungry (so effectively a 1500 calorie deficit every day)
Issue 2. Today I ate 1300 calories, but worked outside mowing for about 2+ hours. The app now says I still have 1275 left to eat (since I burned around 800). My issue is it is like 8 pm, and I am not hungry (at least not hungry enough for another large meal). Am I ok today, or should I try to force something down?
I have been doing this for about 8-10 weeks, and frankly have more energy than I have before I started. Any ideas or thought would be fantastic.
Thanks!

Hm... As long as your net calories are at least 1200 by the end of the day it shouldn't be a HUGE issue... Have you tried eating lots of smaller meals and snacks all day long? That might make it easier for you to get those calories in because by not eating enough you could be hurting yourself in the long run0

I think you are okay but you also do not want to deprive your body of nutrients/the fuel it needs
If I am 200-300 under I say its okay and let it go. If I am more than that I eat a handful of some type of nuts. usually almonds etc. They are pretty healthy have a lot of calories per serving size etc
You may even want to op to a protein shake or fruit smoothie as a night time treat to help you up the calories in a healthy way that tastes good:)

MFP recommends no lower than 1600 calories a day for guys (1200 for girls). IMO - your current calorie intake is far to large of a deficit to be healthy in the long run.
My suggestion is not to wait until the end of the day and try to stuff food in - not good! Add some nuts, nut butters, seeds, etc. to your regular menu. When I know I'm going to have a really light day, I usually have an apple with 2 tablespoons of peanut or almond butter...adds 350 calories and is a healthy choice.
Congrats on your weight loss so far... Remember this is all about health...not a race to the weight loss finish line.0 -
You need to be eating more than 1600 cal/day. That calorie deficit is way to big and you'll end up with a repressed metabolism. At your size, you should be eating closer to 2200 cal/day (starting point). What type of foods are you eating? If you are having trouble getting your calories up, work in some rice, beans, potatoes, etc. You need to fuel your body for it to function properly. How are you exercising?
