Changing my weigh-in days..Any Monday weighers?

So I have decided to change my weekly weigh in days from Friday morning to Monday morning because I have a hard time staying on track on the weekends which causes me to have a problem come weigh in time. I feel that if I change it to Monday mornings, it will help me think twice about going crazy on Friday's as well as it will surely make me think twice before allowing it to carry over into Saturday and Sunday. Has anyone else done this and it actually helped their journey?

My weigh-in is on Monday, and I find it does exactly what you say. I know that scale is coming on Monday, and it really makes me reconsider binging away all weekend long!
That being said, if I want a piece of cake, and it fits, I eat the cake.0 -

I do Mondays. I like the fresh start of a new week. I know what I weigh and can make food adjustments throughout the week, if needed. I don't know. I just find Mondays promising!0

I weigh in every morning- I typically forget on one day a week because I get busy or late- but I usually get them all in there.
I find it interesting to watch how the salt/water affects weight. I don't find it impacts me one way or the other since I do it regularly.0 -
I weigh on Monday evenings at the gym.0

I've always weighed on a Monday morning.
In fact, Monday has always been the day to start "another" diet. So much so, that even if it was Tuesday when I decided that this I was going to do it properly, I'd still wait till the following Monday before beginning.................0 -
I think you will find this really helps you stay on track on the weekends. My weigh-in day is Sunday - because Friday and Saturday nights are my challenges....it has helped me. That being said...remember this is a healthy lifestyle, I never turn down a date, party, or a friends b-day cake...I'm just more cognizant of what I'm eating.
Good luck!0 -

I am making the change to weigh in Monday as well. I binge too much on the weekends and it just really throws me off0

I weigh every day in the morning after going to the bathroom. I log my tickers and check in fields when there is -/+. I am also participating in a few weekly weigh in threads that starts on a Monday so i update those with my weekly loss.0

I weigh in on Mondays! It motivates me to not binge over the weekends, also it motivates me to do well all week as if I gain I feel bad so I work hard, and if I lose I feel good so I want to keep it up!0
-
Exactly! Mondays so that you don't go crazy on the weekends with eating thinking, "I'll get it back off by Friday weight in time"..0

I weigh Mondays, but only cause new diet and excercise regime start on Mondays. Can't start mid week! :ohwell:0

I weigh in on Monday mornings and I really enjoy it. It makes me want to do good on the weekend so the scale continues to go down.0
-
I weigh in on Monday for exactly the same reason! I'm always so curious though, I sometimes jump on the scales before Monday.. just need to control myself! :')0
-
I also weigh in on a Monday to keep me focused over the weekend as that was previously my weak spot0
-
I also weigh in on Mondays! I find that I tend to eat better on the weekends knowing I am going to weigh in on Monday. And like someone else said, its about the only thing I look forward to!0

Monday Weigher right here!!! I used to pick any other day besides Mondays to weigh in because I liked to binge eat on the weekends and have found that my diets could never last. Now that I have become a Monday Weigher I have to hold myself especially accountable for everything that I put into my mouth in the weekends to not undo everything that I have done during the week. So far so good!0

I also weigh in on Mondays! For the reasons you mentioned- to keep me on track on weekends. And this past weekend it really worked, even with me more or less having Friday-Sunday off work. I stocked up on healthy snacks and didn't turn to junk. And my weigh-in today showed progress. 2.5lbs down from last week!0
