Am I eating enough calories for INSANITY?

I've just recently started doing Insanity. Into Week 2, Day 2 and such a great workout. I'm a 5'11, 220lb male. Grabbing a Calorie Counter worksheet online tells me I should be eating 2600 calories, which seemed like a scary number.
During the first week, I started eating only 1600 calories, thinking it would further boost my weight loss but I've actually lost roughly 4 lbs already, which is incredible.
I don't feel tired during the workouts. I eat 4 300 calorie meals and one 400 calorie meal with no absolutely no hunger throughout the day. I have energy to complete the workouts and still go about my day. I can, for a majority, keep up with them (still have to take a few breathers, but eh) but I'm worried the huge calorie deficiency will make me plateau very quickly.
What do you guys think? Should I up the calories or maintain the 1600 calorie intake I have been?

Thanks for your reply! Absolutely, I want to do this right 100%.
And I guess I'll add a few hundred calories to each meal to make it to the 2600. Seems a bit too much because I'm so full after eating each meal but I'll manage.
Just needed another's opinion. I hope I'll feel a difference.0 -
Definitely increase!! I'm a girl and I eat 2200 calories a day and do light exercise every other day (burning about 100-150 cals).0
