It depends on your weight too- I'm 5'5" and am eating 1650 a day and losing at a good rate.0

1880 net, but usually more like 2300 after exercise.0
-
5'8" 2500-2800 to maintain, 2300 to lose at a good rate. This is a daily average, I don't factor in workouts as they are already accounted for in the 2300.0

1470 if I workout - 1370 if I don't.0

I am 5'10" and currently 275lbs. I eat 1300-1500 calories a day.0

I'm just starting maintenance and I am working my way up from 1200 calories (low I know) to 1900 and perhaps higher if I need to. I'm feeling really full after having 1300 which is where I am right now in my transition so I'm wondering how I will feel to go up by 600 calories. I had a party lasg weekend and I ate about 1800 calories and I felt like I wanted to be sick so I guess I have to take things really slow. After seeing peoples tolds around 2200 I am starting to wonder how much I many actually need...0

I'm 5'9" my goal is to lose about 40 lbs. I'm eating 1400, I can't exercise daily but I aim for 3-4 times a week. I try not to rely on the extra calories from exercise.0

1800 on non exercise days and 2000-2200 on exercise days. I'm 5'11", around 180, and my goal is 155.0

wow i bet you look good!
I'm 5'8 128lbs and I'm currently eating between 1200-1500 i try to stay within that range. I don't exercise but i am active in my work.0 -
5'9", 99kg (about 210lbs I think?) at the moment, losing on 1300ish net.
Not this week though. Urgh.0 -
I'm not 5'9, I used to measure at 5'8. I come in at 5'6.5 now, and since apparently I have no disc degeneration, I blame it all on my spine taking a turn to the right after an injury. so REALLY it's like I've got a 5'8 frame even if that's not what I measure at.
In any case, I'm currently 138 and after eating back exercise calories I often end up with anywhere between 2400 and 3000 calories in a day and still end up losing. slowly...but still losing.0 -
I'm 5"9 and my maintenance is about 1800.
I try to eat 1800 a day and do a 600 calorie fast twice a week. But sometimes I go a little lower on the other days as well, ranging between 1500 and 1700.0 -

Lots. I exercise every day at the moment, so I pack away about 2000 calories a day, including a considerable amount of delicious chocolate.0

I'm eating 1400 for a week to reboot my metabolism. Turns out I was eating too little and my body was storing fat for "just in case"
After a week it increases by 200 cal for 1600 however vegetables are considered free if you're feeling peckish. Most of the calories though are focused on proteins to help build muscle mass with working out to ultimately speed up your metabolism to give you some slack for days you might stray. Muscle burns fat, when you diet alone you're basically just losing muscle mass which means you're more likely to put the weight back on easier.
Basically I am eating a well balanced diet with protein with every meal and snack. Has worked so far this week down 4lbs as of this morning0 -
I lose two pounds a week eating 1500 calories a day.0

sedentary maintenance is ~2000
daily burn target(via body media fit which in my experience is very accurate) is 2600
which puts me eating an average of 2100 a day for the week while loosing a pound a week.0 -
5ft 9 and normally eat around 2k calories... But I normally work out 5 days a week, and I am at the gym for 1.5 hours and the gym machines say anywhere from 700-800k.
When I go to workout... I workout!
Sometimes I do a 45mins spin class, then 30 mins cardio - And I come out sweating!
(I've had a week off due to my sleep patterns - I think this is from me going to the gym too late)0 -
honestly, about 1200 and i net around 4000
