umm my DH is 20, i am 22 we have been together for 4 years, married for a year, we do the deed at least once every day and it lasts well over an hour. and thats excluding foreplay ( dont do that much anyway i know, sad...) and cuddling doesnt count either. and we are both totally worn out, its the equivalent to doing heavy cardio. and he is ALWAYS drenched in sweat. worse than when he is outside in 90 degree weather and 100% humidity ( happens nearly everyday here on ocracoke)

I don't count it as I am not allowed to wear my heart monitor so I can't really see where my heart rate gets to.

Sure! Two hours a day, six days a week, eat right, and you're good to go in a few months.

May cause unintentional weight gain down the line though.

You can count whatever you like.
I see all kinds of activities being added as exercise.
I personally only add things that I wouldn't normally do in my day-to-day routine.

    Shhh... don't tell my wife.

I've convinced her that we can count it!

I was just wondering that myself. Any idea on where to get a general idea of calories burned? Of course depending on how active a roll you play and for how long.

What's funny is how some of my friends log it on MFP. I figured out one person's entry just based on the fact I used the same seemingly normal exercise name for it too.

One logs it as low impact aerobics.

It doesn't count as exercise more of a fun-cheat-day or a prize for reaching a goal.

Anything that gets your heart rate elevated can be classed as an exercise.
I personally don't because I find it a little bit weird to analyse it like that.

Yeah so I have not been adding "it" to my exercise totals but of course there are times where you break out in a nice sweat from sex...has anyone added it as an exercise?

I consider sex an "activity," not exercise.

It has the extra added bonus of getting my heart rate up, but doesn't contribute to my fitness goals.

Oh, and my BF likes to turn the air conditioning off when we're together to increase the "sweat factor," snicker..

Exactly. Some people should count it the same as taking a nap.

I`m getting older and I burn less these days.

I think its because of lower stamina. After 2 hours straight and about 10 of those mutual 5 second funny feeling, I start to give out.
