Do you think those two would taste well together? What about Jack Daniels and Protein powder?

I think the fact that you want to drink Jack Daniels is more disgusting than the fact you are considering drinking it with protein powder.

    Drink good whiskey.

Sounds pretty terrible. More importantly, why? If you really want both just drink the powder with water then take a shot.

Well now, let's hear him out...

OP, what kind of protein powder? Does it mix smooth or is it kinda chalky? Is it plain, flavored, or leave an aftertaste? I need to know these things for.... science.

I was wondering this the other day too. Blended fruit and protein with a shot of rum?

I had my usual protein drink (plain whey, milk, a spoon of sugar and a bit of vanilla) last night and I was eyeing the navy rum, wondering about the very same thing.....

    Great minds and all that.

I'd go the mix into batter and turn into drunken munchies route. Easier to burn so mix your batter a little thinner than normal and you'll be fine.

A little rum in the coconut smoothie with protein powder, is pretty great. Easier than a trip to the islands.

But Rum and protein powder straight or with fruit, holy moly. that's a "no". If I'm taking protein powder then I'm usually trying to cut sugar and carbs.
