What am I?

I am a Mum of 2 boys 7 and 2 years. During the day I am cleaning and on my feet with the odd couple of minutes sit down here and there and is like that until the children are in bed.
I am cleaning/doing chores around 4 hours everyday as well as being up and down the stairs and dealing with the boys.
What would you say my lifestyle is sedentry, light active or active?
I am wondering if I have not allowed myself enough or maybe allowed myself too many calories?

I'm guessing active. BUT if you give yourself 3 or 4 weeks on this type, and you are not seeing the lbs slip away, then change it down to lightly active
Best of luck to you!!0 -
Good question! It sounds like very active to me :-)
But, you're not running or lifting weights......so maybe it's just considered "light activity" hahaha......(I know better)0 -
I would say lightly active. I was a meter reader for the power company, walking miles and miles a day. That was "active". Now I ride a desk, only getting up when I need to potty, get a drink, etc...Now I am sedentary. I would say you fall between there0

I have been doing lightly active but am finding myself struggling with being tired, lightheaded etc. I dont want to end up slowing my metabolism down long term iygwim0 -
I'd go for light active. Even though it probably doesn't feel like it! (sounds exhausting)0

I struggle with what I am too. I am a middle school teacher. I go up and down the 3 flights of stairs two or three times a day. I put myself as lightly active.0
