How to do it healthy?

I really want to lose weight the healthy way and become active but my biggest fear is that (like everything I do) I'll either give and never do it again or that I'll become super obsessive about it. That this will become something in which I am making healthy choices but with an unhealthy mind set. That this will consume me and that every calories becomes a fear. How do I do this journey in a healthy way both physically AND mentally? Any advice?

sounds like you dont like eating healthy already which means you will not be able to do this "in a healthy way both physically AND mentally"
also losing weight does not necessarily mean you must restrict yourself to only "healthy" foods. which means, you should just start with incorporating healthier foods into your diet first and eating less of your junk food and move from there0
