My weight scale is old. I'm getting frustrated with it because I can step on it 3 times in a row and get 3 different numbers! I can put a little more weight on one foot and different number! What are you using to measure your weight?
Is a fitbit more accurate for weight? What type of scale? Thanks I'm totally frustrated with mine and want to pitch it against a wall!!

Could you clarify your question, please? You're not asking if the FitBit activity tracker will weigh you properly?
I have a digital scale that was being annoying, too. Then I read a suggestion to put a known weight on it then step on the scale to weigh myself. The (2) 10 lb weights usually come in at 25.2, used to be I could shake the scale a bit and it would be 20 or 19.8, but now I have to weigh myself after I see the 25.2 #, then put the weights on and it finally shows up as 20 lb. Sometimes I'll weigh myself again but it usually matches what I saw after removing the weights the first time. Sounds like a hassle but the whole thing takes less than a minute
Also are you weighing on a level, flat surface and not any kind of carpet?0 -
I use my scale on a hardwood floor. I don't know much about fitbits. I was just researching them and I guess you have to input weight number so I guess I really need a new scale. Guess I need to go to bath and body today.0

Yup, Fitbit will rely on you for an accurate weight, so you need a scale first and foremost. A decent digital is totally cheap, though!0

I just tried to calibrate it with my 8# weight and it just turns off.0

Yeah, fitbits are activity trackers. They do make scales though that sync with trackers and MFP. If you are interested in those, take a look under MFP Apps. But, scales can get expensive!0

Is 8# heavy enough? mine won't recognise under 5kg, which is like... 11#?0

Yes, I had to use the two ten lb weights. It just ignores the one. I'm not sure what the minimum on mine is0 -
Two 8# isn't working either. Think I have a good excuse to go shopping now!0
