A peanut snack that lasts a long time

I was never satisfied with "one serving" (28g) of peanuts until I bought them in the shell this week. It takes so long to shell and eat them that it feels like a lot more peanuts.

I figured out by weighing before then after just the shells, for this bag anyway, 45g in the shell is about 28g out.

I love peanuts in the shell. Thinking about it, I don't think I've had them in a long time. Last time was definitely my most recent trip to Five Guys which was a few months ago.

    That's a good technique.

It's messy and slow indeed. Too bad the shells aren't palatable

I find the same with pistachios

Bought some red melon seeds the other day but it turns out that life is just to short to shell those!!
