Hello Everyone!
My name is Jennie and this is my first post. I am looking for some encouragement and support as I continue my journey towards health. I have always tried to live a healthy life but about a year ago, I slowly starting making additional small changes to my diet and lifestyle to prepare for infertility treatments (I have been trying to get pregnant for four years but we have only been trying treatments over the last year). On a side note, my infertility is unexplained which is what motivated me to take a more holistic approach. We recently finished a round of treatments which did not work but did leave me with an extra 15 pounds.... yikes! I have never struggled with weight gain like that before. I would like to take it off in a healthy way. My diet and exercise regimen is good but I need to modify it a bit to target weight loss. As of now, I workout about 4 times a week (a mix of yoga, cardio, and sometimes weights). I also try to avoid highly processed foods. About 95% of what I drink is water and I drink a lot of it. I completely avoid soda, coffee, tea, wine, beer, and anything with artificial sugar. I rarely drink juice and might have a cocktail a few times a month.
I appreciate and support, advice, or encouragement. I also am happy to do what I can to help other people reach their goals. Help!

Hi Jennie Nice to meet you You sound like you have a very healthy attitude about everything and you are already doing so many healthy habits MFP is a great tool and should set you up easily with a daily calorie intake Just make sure to log everything and I am sure you will be able to target that weight loss no problem0
