Help!!! The MFP forums made me fat!

Hahaha...just kidding, just kidding. However, while trying to regain my focus and get back on the wagon (I fell off pretty hard last summer), I realized I spend a lot of time reading the MFP forums. See, I'm a "lurker". While I've gotten a lot of good information from the forums, I mainly read them for entertainment. I especially like the posts that solicit the "mean" responses. Not because I'm a mean person (quite the opposite), but I find sarcasm amusing. I've literally almost fallen out of my chair laughing at some of the responses. That's not to say I think it's okay to bully an OP, but I've only seen real meanness a couple of times. Most of the time people just misread, misunderstand or completely fail to see the humor/sarcasm in respondents' thoughts.

Soooo...in order for me to lose weight so my clothes will be loose, I'll have to wait until I weigh and log my food and exercise before I allow myself to lurk. ;)

Happy Logging...

Lurking puts your body into starvation mode after skipping one post. Be very very careful, your body will hold onto fat stores and you'll be overweight forever no matter how much you lurk after that.

Be sure not to post under your BMR because you will get too thin, or lurk over your TDEE because you will get too fat. Besides, doing either of these things will cause you to crave chocolate cookies and buttered popcorn late into the night.

OMG!!! This is exactly what I was talking about. You all are going to make it impossible to kick my lurking habit. Guess I'll have to learn to lurk while on the treadmill.

I'm pretty sure lurking under BME will throw her into starvation mode and she'll just get fatter.

Dr Oz says that you can burn an extra 100 calories per hour lurking by following this one simple weight loss tip. I just need to get the limit increased on my credit card so I can sign up, and I'll let you know what it is!

You need to drink more water when consuming special snowflakes. They absorb five times their own volume, so it takes a lot of water to flush the toxins out and get proper snowflake digestion.

What is a special snowflake logged as? Protein or Breakfast?

I log mine as smacks because they're really just kind of empty calories. But i AM a special snowflake, so i really shouldn't have to log them at all, and i throw a hissy fit every time i do.

I thought snowflakes melted on your tongue and therefore contribute to your water intake... Crap, I have been doing this all wrong for so long :grumble: :grumble:
