OK so I can't believe I am even posting a success story on here. I have been a member for a lot longer than 6 months but it has all finally started to come together.

I am going to hit you all with the damning truth of how big I started today & tomorrow I'll post the picture of myself now (I promised by Facebook friends a photo on July 1st).

I have added in some swimming, lots of walking & recently push ups. Mainly achieved this through diet alone.

I started putting on weight when I was about 10 and it kept going on at a rate of about a stone a year. Eventually I finished up at 27 stone and 4 pounds (give or take). I went to the doctor for help and it was a waste of time. Nobody takes you seriously and the NHS is not set up to help people lose weight IMHO.

I never saw the same dietician twice and the diets they gave me were confusing and utterly maddening.

In January my relationship broke down & my whole world turned upside down. So I started to make the change for good.

I'll post some more about all of that later & tomorrow.

Wow, 104 pounds in 7 months, can not wait for the after photo. Now you have kept us all in suspense lol. Excellent effort. Did you find swimming helpful? I have not swam for years, but have hurt my foot and miss exercising, so am heading back to the pool.

congrats on your weight loss, looking forward to the after pic. Keep up the good work, you're nothing short of extraordinary. Too bad you had to go through something tough in order to make this happen for you but the thing is it happened and that's what you should focus on. Happy for you!

The world indeed is a cruel place for fatter people, but if you look hard enough love can be found; there's lots of love here on my fitness pal, I've had plenty. It only takes one person to believe in you.

I think you're awesome. Your pictures are wonderful. Well done. X
