Anything country. Doesn't matter if I'm strength training, running, or kickboxing. I love me some country!

if its strength training, I usually kick it off with "nekrogoblikon - no one survives"
If its a trail run I almost always listen to a 2 hr long melodic dubstep mix which kicks off with a remix of "juventa - move into the light"

Straight-edge metal (like Earth Crisis) or the diametric Stoner Metal (like Fu manchu) on lifting days. (And sometimes in the same playlist.)

Death metal like the newish Carcass "Surgical Steel" album on cardio days.

Yesterday though it was Unearth, Bolt Thrower, and Behemoth mostly.

Dude, anything from EC's Destroy the Machines will get the job done. Their metal stuff is good, but you gotta give their 90's hardcore days a shot too! (I was a Syracuse resident in their glory days - check out Path of Resistance too)

Turned Down For What by Lil Jon, gets me pumped. I also listen to a lot of Barlow Girls when im working out, they are a christian rock/pop band and just very inspirational messages.

I had that all on vinyl back in the day, probably listened to it zillions of times.

I don't listen to EC or SXE outside of the gym much, not really into the message, since I'm an old hardcore punk circa mid-80 anyway and love death metal and stoner metal more (Melvin's anyone???) - but I enjoy a good beat in the gym regardless.

I'll look into the other band - can always use a n other intense band on the play list.

(FYI Found them on Spotify... gonna spin them up. )
