Knee hurts after sqauts.

It's been a little more than a month I've started squatting but my knees have started hurting . I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I think my knees move a lot when I go down . I'm okay with 90 degrees but I feel like my glutes and quads aren't working as much

Probably a form/stance issue. If your stance is to narrow your knees will push outward, which is bad, if it's too wide they'll dip inward, also bad, you want your knees, hips and ankles to track in line with each other. That's just a guess without actually seeing you perform a squat, but it's a pretty good bet that's the issue.

I agree with NavyRigger......sounds like an issue with bad form

I would keep your legs about shoulder width at most, but your should absolutely focus on pushing your knees OUT on the eccentric portion of the squat. If your knees are turning inside it simply means a couple things
1. Adductors are weak, simple solution do an exercise that strengthens them
2. Hamstrings are weak, *see above*
3. Psoas (hip flexors) are weak
3. Flexibility: Focus a little more on mobility and flexibility, don't neglect your IT bands either0
