Hi y'all I'm new just signed up today! I'm 28 years old and recently graduated collage and now working full time. I used to be really active 3 years ago and the life of being a college student I think dragged me into the state I'm in now. I've never ever been this much overweight in my life! My self-esteem has gone down the drain with my excessive weight gain and I'm unhappy with my body. I know I have the ability to rekindle my inner athlete but I'll admit I've had a hard time relinquishing it. I know that 70-80% is my poor eating habits as I tend to just eat fast food for its cheap and easy. The other is my lack of exercising everyday. I workout only twice a week and I know I need to do more but by the time I get home I'm exhausted. Looking for some people to help motivate and encourage each other on our journey. Any helpful advice on this app I've never used it but planning on starting tomorrow.

The mobile version is fantastic when you need to log meals when you're away from your computer. If you're considering an activity tracker at any point MFP syncs with many of the models on the market today. Enjoy the process, there's great support here!0

If you are exhausted when you get home, try and workout earlier in the day .. maybe morning? I'm not a morning person..but it might work for you. There are so many fast options that aren't junk food.
Couple examples:
Starkist makes pre-made tuna salad in 100 calorie pouches. Toast some bread, add a fruit and bam, lunch.
If you have a target near you, we have been buying these pouches of nearly instant rice and quinoa. Pop in the microwave for 90 seconds and its ready. Pay attention to portion size (they are usually 150-200 cals per portion).
Frozen steam-in-bag veggies. You can find these all over. Some even come with sauce on them, but check the nutrition facts, and again..portion size on these. I could easily eat a whole box/bag and it will end up being 300+ calories for what is supposed to be a side :X
Greek yogurt. If you can manage to keep it cold, its a great snack. I bring them to work. I eat light & fit, which are only 80 calories and something like 10g of protein.0
