Beef Package

Got an email solicitation for a Beef package:

--Includes (2) 6 oz. filet mignons, (2) 8 oz. New York strips, (2) 6 oz. top sirloins, (2) 6 oz. chuck steaks, (2) 6 oz. London broil steaks ---- for $99 (normally $262.59).

Any Math wiz's out there, because to me that computes to $30.46 per pound (normally $80.79 per pound)

I wouldn't pay that unless it was Minataur or Unicorn steaks. Are people really this stupid?

    I don't pay for any beef packages.

    Is the beef package hand delivered to your house by a beef package specialist? You might be paying for convenience and expertise.

    Many people can be fooled into buying something if it is in a package and someone gives a nonsensical explanation of why it is a deal. Smh.

    On a per ounce basis my meat package is far more expensive than that. And worth every dime.

    :laugh: really though at almost $25 a pound they deserve some emails. Unless they are going to send someone to cook it, cut it up and feed it to me then no thank you.

    I don't know...3 out 4 customers that I've talked to found the sausage to be pleasantly lean, but overly veiny.

    It's not veiny, it's well marbled. And exceptionally satisfying.

    So hypothetical situation....

    Let's say one WANTED to receive said emails.....could you possibly point that HYPOTHETICAL person in the right direction.

    This thread isn't nearly as exciting as your title suggests. I'm sad now.

    ETA: You've got 64oz. (4 lbs) of meat for $99. That's $24.75/lb. OUCH!
