I discovered today that you can eat a huge amount of pirate's booty for one serving (1oz). I used a scale I just got today and found that out. Does anyone else eat that for a snack?

Ohhh where can I find it?
  • googled it since we don't have it here... found this:
    http://articles.sfgate.com/2002-05-20/news/17546005_1_meredith-berkman-fruity-booty-pirate-s-booty

not sure if that changes your mind or not... The article's a bit dated so maybe they fixed it.

I got a big bag from BJs but that is a wholesale store. I would guess in a regular grocery sore that you could find it in the organic section.

Not sure if they do still because I forget to check, but Costco used to sell two HUGE bags of Pirate Booty for like $8...which was about the equivalent of five or six regular bags at least.

    We LOVE the stuff!!!
  • Pirate Booty is so good! I'm not sure if they still do this but I have bought it from Whole Foods, 5 or 8 single serving bags altogether in one giant bag which helps me. But it is a magically delicious snack.

I just went to that site and I think that I will pass on the booty.
I might eat it every once in awhile but my problem is over eating and I am trying to gain some self control.

That's the hardest part of this whole journey is self control. If I have something bad in the house I eat it so I try not to keep anything especially bad in the house.
