I personally warm up for 5 minutes and then I workout as hard as I can for 20 seconds and slow down to a slow pace for 40 seconds and I do it for 15 minutes. I use the Cybex Arc and I also jack up the resistance and drop it down thru the whole 15 minutes. I then do steady cardio for 20 minutes and a 5 minute cool down. If your just starting to work out gon online and put HIIT in google and you will learn everything you need. Let me know how it goes and your progress.

    Hi,

I do HIIT on treadmill, 5 minutes warm up on eliptical and 3 minutes treadmill jog , and then HIIT : 5 km/h jog, 14km/h run for 15 minutes. My heart rate is up to 170. I really feel more tired, than typical cardio. I just thinking about changing run speed. 14 seems
is not enough now. What a progress :) I started 5 / 8 half year ago, what looks funny now.

    Anyway .. HIIT rocks !

Cathe.com has a great HIIT dvd. Three separate workouts on one dvd. Do one or all! She just came out with Intensity too which has step intervals, high impact intervals and low impact intervals. Killer!

Turbo Fire HIIT 30 or HIIT 15. Both are awesome. I also do HIIT with my Resistance workout. Who says you can't get cardio while doing resistance?

    Hi,

How HIIT can rocket endurance - my case. After a month brake from exercising came back on beginning
of January and couldn't do my routine ( treadmill 10 min 5/14 km/h intervals 1 min ). Today could do
easy for 15 minutes. So, I have a question to experts here. Should I keep as it is ? Change the routine
to make it longer / faster ?
