Polar Chest strap size for a big guy

I am lookin at buying the Polar FT7 or FT60. My chest size is ~52". I wondered if any out there could tell me if the strap that comes with the it, would fit me, or if I need to shell out the extra cash for the XXXL. From what I read, the strap that comes with it can go up to 40, but that didnt take into account the elasticity.

If any could shed some light on this, I would appreciate it. I dont want to have to shell out another $20 + shipping, + wait for it if I dont have to!!!

    Hi,

    I have a FT4 for women.
    I don't remember having the option to choose the strap size, but I bought in a Sport Store in Istanbul, April 2013.
    I use it with 30inches length, and it's less then half of the maximum length.

    Thank you very much Tatyanne. I ended up buying the FT7, and it fits fine. Some might consider it snug... but it is not too bad for me. Marking my heart rate has really helped me out in my exercising!
