Lilliana co-sleeps with me and Sal. Sal usually doesn't come to bed until later, so Lilliana and I have our little snuggle time where we play peek-a-boo under the covers, or watch a cartoon, or play tickle. When it's time to sleep, she scoots her little bit next to me in a spooning position and I put my left arm under her and my right arm hugging her.

So last night we had our little fun, it was time to sleep, I put my left arm under her head, my right arm hugging her, but she kept moving around like she was bothered. I moved my arms so she could sleep flat on the bed, thinking that it would make her more comfortable.

As soon as I moved my arms, she said "Mamma hand" and grabbed my right hand, held it with her tiny hands, and fell asleep. cry.gif

It was like the sweetest moment of my life, I just can't even explain it.

    Colby (my youngest) has always had to rub my face while nursing, and now that he's three and SO not nursing LOL he rubs my face all the time....awww (thanks for the pimples baby) =o)))

    My daughter can melt my heart in a split second....
    We pretty much have the same routine when we go to bed,,,,,
    My hubby comes to bed later so he can get in his sports news.
    I love it!!

    This brings back so many memories of my son how precious.. time goes by so fast... .. My son is almost 8 now!!

    That's adorable!

    That's the way it was with my 2 y/o until we got bunk beds and kicked her wittle *kitten* out of our bed!
    She slept with me (yes, only me... hubbz moved either to the BR floor or couch) up until a few months ago.

    I had to hold her hand with my left and caress her hair with my right in order for her to fall asleep.... I must admit... I miss it :ohwell:

    Awww, so sweet. My 13 year old is so over cuddling, probably only a bit longer for my six year old, then by the time the baby is over it, I'll be ready for another one lol!!

    You aren't kidding!! My youngest will be two next month and he is SOOO devilish but he can be sweet when he wants to. His thing is when he is upset or wants attention he will come over and grab your hand and put it on top of his head for you to caress and rub.
