Hello
I'm new to the site. I REALLY need to lose alot of weight (60 lbs.)! Looking for support tool and support people to help me on my journey to optimal health. I gained most of the weight after the birth of my child who is now in pre-school, so I can't say it's "baby weight" anymore.

Welcome! This application (my fitness pal ... MFP) is wonderful and has all of the tools you'll need! I suspect you'll find everyone here to be very helpful.
Just be sure to eat all of the calories that MFP tells you to eat. And no, you don't have to eat all of your exercise calories all of the time!

DON'T BEAT YOURSELF UP GIRL.. You can do it. I gained 50 pounds with my first child.. just didn't know how to control my appetite. You are going to have to add exercise to your diet.. start off simple.. like walking .. only twice a week.. and then build it up slowly.. don't go crazy ..
Also.. you can wait on the exercise until you get your diet down pat,.. then gradually add the exercise..
The Walk away the pounds dvd is a great way to get started .. it has 3 levels..
I am trying to lose 20 pounds right now myself.. My problem is eating junk food.. chips.. popcorn, etc..0 -

welcome to the site. its awesome and especially the people. they are so helpful and encouraging. feel free to friend me. my baby weight is finally gone, he turned 2 as of halloween, those last 20 pounds took forever, and im hoping to lose a bit more weight. good luck to you and have fun.0
