Hi I'm 18 (5'5 and 107lbs) and just settled down with my fiancé !! We have our own apartment and vehicles and are now planning on having a child (: I took out my implanon birth control in hopes of conceiving (hopefully twins) on June 26th , still no sign of a menstural cycle as of now (July 2nd)(only a week). Although not pregnant YET I'm taking certain vitamins for my own health as well as my future child's health . Lately I've started to wonder if I'm taking too much at one time or too much at all as I baby barf constantly in the following hours .. Let me run a list for you guys .
Me:
Hair skin and nail vitamins (just for beauty reasons)
Iodine drops (helps my breast cysts due to thyroid problems)
Women's multivitamins (just to be healthier)
Ibuprofen (pain relief for my arthritis and breast cysts)
Child:
Prenatal vitamins (doctor said to be taking them to provide well nourished eggs)
Folic acid 1000 mcg (raises chances for twins and helps prevent neural tube defects in very young fetus)
Is this too much ? Maybe too much at one time ? Could I somehow split them into different time servings ? I'm not sure what makes me barf but I'm assuming too much of some sort of substance .. Can I get some advice on splitting them or dropping some ?..

You should check the labels on your vitamins. The multivitamin and prenatal vitamins probably have a lot of the same ingredients. Both of them probably also have folic acid.
Also ibuprofen can cause stomach problems if you take too much, if you take it too frequently, or if you take it on an empty stomach.
ETA: Some vitamins can be dangerous in too high amounts, like vitamin A. You should check with your doctor and then take what he suggests and that's all.0 -

I bet this person would also be a good resource to explain why you are barfing.0 -
