Hey guys! I am new to fitness pal and I wanted to say hello! I LOVE this app! I already lost 9 pounds! My goal is to lose about 60 more! I wanted to see if anyone wanted to get motivated with me! I hope you all enjoy this app as much as I do!

    Hello, Amina! I am new, too. Started on July 2 (yesterday). My doctor set a weight-loss goal of 20 lbs, so that is my First goal. After that I will try for 20 more. I have to do it one step at a time or will end up quitting - but if I stick with it, there should be progress. I have noticed in the past that I tend to quit just when I start seeing results - which is kind of the opposite of what happens to most people. I don't know why, some kind of mental block or hurdle that I must beat. So that will be my "danger point." Hope all goes well for you!
