Calories, drinks, and more

Okay, so I've been on this lifestyle change for about 2 weeks now, and it's funny before I never looked at calories, I just ate it, but know that I actually look at calories, I can't believe it.. And that 3500 calories in a pound! I think I have done pretty good this far, instead of eating chips, I will snack on crackers with cheese. I'm not really craving sweets, although when I do they have this high fiber granola bar with chocolate, and for being high fiber, it is actually good! I have been craving a hamburger for the last few days, but have been good about not giving into it.
But does anyone have any suggestions on what to drink.. I heard diet coke is bad for you and although I have been drinking more lately, I can't live off just water and juice isn't good either, with all that sugar, so what else is there? Is gatorade okay?,

aspartame and and most sugar substitutes are bad for you. if you get some seltzer water and (not tonic) and flavor it with juice should be healthy and less boring than water, and less sugar than straight juice. I like green tea and coffee but caffeinated beverages are not best either. If it's a lifestyle plan go with the above. In my case, I'm doing what I can to get to the weight I want and then slowly changing over to a healthier lifestyle one food at a time. first I'm dropping weight, then I'm going to change to whole foods. It's up to you. For me, the weight has to come off first, then I'll start worrying about cancer. but if you do drink diet coke, i take calcium supplements.0

Hey! Well water is the best to drink obvi but u can flavor it w lemon or orange if u want a healthy ( no chemicals) flavoring. Also try reducing ur salt intake which helps u lose weight as well0

My very favorite is flavored carbonated water, they have them in different fruit flavors. You should try it it's yummy!0

Stick with the water and use orange, limes, lemon or cucumber slices to give it a flavor twist. A splash of cranberry juice in there can be good as well.
Avoid the sugar substitutes. It you have to have sugar in a beverage, try truvia or stevia. Its doesnt have the icky artificial flavors that splenda or others have. If you have to use something but dont have the truvia, just use sugar but less than what you normally would. You'll find over time that it is fine with less sweetener.
Use Flavored decaffinated tea's to make iced tea with. Yummy and the options are endless for flavors. Green tea is also good as an iced tea.
As for the burger... try a turkey, bean or veggie burger!! Less fat, tastes similar when you add all the good veggie toppings on it and less calories also!0 -
Everything in moderation... Im likin the crystal light pink lemonade on the go packets.
Something different besides water0
