On my way...

Hello all! I'm new here. 30, female, AZ.

Attempting to lose approximately 44 pounds (would put me at 160) that I've gained in the past 5 years. Eventually I'd like to lose more, but that 44 is my initial goal to begin with. It's super tough because I *love* sweets and I've worked in bakeries and pastry kitchens consistently for the past 7 years. Here's to hoping that I can meet my goals and get healthier in the process! :)

    i love sweets too...

i just changed the sweets i pick and eat less of them. i was just commenting this evening to my people on here that my snack section... well, its strange to publish my journal... todays snacks... , pita chips... 2 pieces of taffy, 1 cup of sherbet... but hey . its better than my old choices...... swimming in taffy wrappers...

anyway its all about choosing better. staying under your goal. not depriving yourself of what you like. just choosing better.

also i run a lot so that i can have more of what i want...

You got this. Starting with a good nutritional shake first thing in the morning helps
  • Fruit can help wotandh sweet cravings. Its sweet, and it leaves you fuller and feeling good about eating fresh. I also find dark chocolate delicious :) just a little bit helps calm the cravings, and its better for you than milk chocolate
  • That wotandh is supposed to be with...
