Only way to physical see is if the person has muscle mass. I fall in this category.0

No, i can't tell. Many lean women don't even work out. You might want to wear a shirt that says "I work out". That way we unimportant strangers don't get the wrong impression. :bigsmile:0

this! i'm not sure i understand the question, why do you want to know what we think other people think?0 -
Usually not.
If they have such significant muscle mass, that it shows the definition of it over the extra fat and they're wearing clothes that would show this area, then probably, but otherwise no. Most regular clothes cover the most muscular areas though IMO.0 -
No, I can't tell, and unless I'm actually seeing an overweight person working out, it's not something I ever even think about. Even as an overweight person who works out. Why does it matter what strangers think?0

Your legs are fine. But yes, I can tell, with myself and others. My legs are horrible and if I don't work out, there seems to be a visible change and they are more jiggly and a bit more round due to lack of tight muscle. It's fine though... there are more untoned people in this world than toned. I don't care a lot... Only when it is on me but you seem fine. Werk it.

Some overweight people do have an athletic body type so in those cases you can tell. Or if certain body parts start getting defined much before the others. I remember once feeling shut out from a conversation about exercise because the person asking seemed to only want to hear from the ultra slim runner looking types. I thought that was odd because why wouldn't you want to hear what someone that's approximately your size can do, too.0

Visually no, but you can tell when they can get up the stairs without dying.
I cycle 200+ miles a week on my commute, but the stairs still kill me

the best way to show people you are working out is go work out. To hell with what anyone else thinks. Can YOU tell you have been working out? IF so then keep doing it. Believe it or not, a lot of women have thick legs even if they are active and work out a lot. I do for sure. All we can do is not get down on ourselves and keep at it to be the best you can be be. Ps: your legs may be thick but they look properly portioned and just fine. Always remember to count your accomplishments and positive things about yourself and your choices you make on a daily basis. Try to make a goal of adding to that list on a daily and weekly basis. :flowerforyou:0
