how to log these buns?

Argh! Hardly anything I can buy here has nutritional information (it's a less developed country). Usually I find a way around it by guessing what's inside and how much. Tomorrow we want to make burgers and I have no idea how to log the buns (the only buns we found, actually). The ingredient list only reads, in this order:

whole meel flour
wheet flour
yiest
vegetable shortening
water
sesame seeds

Any suggestions?

These are in the tracker and close enough to what you describe:

Yes, that might be an option to log. I'd usually stay on the high side of calories anyway if I'm uncertain, and these look a bit 'heavier' than mine. So yes, I might use them in the end - unless I find darker coloured ones.

I used to be so exact ... then remembered I have a life.

Find generic hamburger buns (or whatever it is you're eating) and just use that.

A couple of hundred calories either way throughout the course of a every other day isn't going to wreck your diet.

Also, it's not ONLY about calories in vs. calories out.

    Enjoy life.

first, logging accurately takes about 5 minutes of your day and can be the difference between losing nothing and losing 10 lbs

second, generic entries are crap and should only be used when there is no other option

third, maybe not a couple hundred every other day, but if this is consistent then yes it is going to wreck your diet

fourth, its MOSTLY about calories in vs. out

though OP, you're pretty much trapped in this situation if there are no nutritional labels. can you perhaps look up the brand (if it is a brand) online and find out that way?

    Thanks guys,

nope I don't think it's gonna work. There is a name on the bag, the price tag and the ingredients. That's all. The company mentioned doesn't seem to have a website. I guess it might be local. Oh well.. we're not eating this kind of food every day, so that's fine.

Today we'll have a water-based Sri Lancan curry with dried fish and onions. At least that's easier to log.

Interesting! 1.5 good-sized burgers for approximately 700kcal. Though I must say don't like molten cheese and no large amounts of mayonnaise or ketchup.

I'm more 'worried' about having a meeting with friends at Fuddruckers in just over a week, and their 'healthy' options are not available in this country, while just a salad doesn't do it for me either :( Need to find a better place for future come-togethers.
