Could dehydration be causing me to look boney?

My hip bones stick out and hurt if I lay on them for a long period of time. My spine also is very noticable and I can see my ribs much more. My skin, rear end and breasts seem to just hang off my body.
Just a bit of background. A few months ago I had bad stomach pains from eating a supplement with sucralose in it. First day I couldn't keep any food or drinks down. Second and third days I ate and drank about half the amount of food as I normally do. I noticed how skinny I looked around the second day. The fourth day my stomach felt fine and I went back to eating like normal but noticed signs of being dehydrated like dry eyes and mouth. Ever since I've been eating lots of foods with moisture like melons, pureed squash soup etc and upping my fluid and electrolyte intake. I've been eating higher calorie foods like nuts, avocados, olives etc in case I lost some fat those days.
I'm at a loss for what could be wrong. It seems like the reduced amount of calories I consumed wouldn't be enough for me to lose more than a couple pounds. The symptoms of dehydration I had (like dry eyes) are gone. Is it possible I could look like I lost 20 lbs and got 40 years older because of being dehydrated?
