Or just change activity level?
My job is as a housekeeper (fancy name for a janitor I suppose) at a long-term care facility and we do a LOT of work and are on our feet going up and down the building the entire time - minus our breaks that combine to an hour, which we sometimes work through on faster days - but it is only part-time, so I sometimes have up to 4 days off in a row that I am definitely sedentary during, unless I go for a run which I've been trying to make part of my routine but my leg/butt muscles and feet get soo sore from work there is no denying its an exercise itself!
If I log 7 hours of vigorous heavy cleaning mfp says I burned around 1,200 calories, which I wouldn't doubt, but does that just sound kinda ridiculous to log?
Thanks for any opinions

(note: I do not have a heart rate monitor nor can I afford one at this time
