I am reallly struggling with the last 10lbs... Keep yo-yoing and messing up. I can't seem to maintain a good lifestyle. It's all or nothing :( how do you manage the last stretch and keep motivated?

I've been struggling with the last 10 myself. ;)
One of the trainers I work with suggested a low carb diet trying to stay near 80 carbs a day.
I was able to do that for about three days. (I don't eat meat very often or much of it at a time. I also eat low fat. Meaning, when I keep the carbs that low... my calories drop.)
It jump starts the scale back into the direction you prefer.
Try also adding at least 30 mins of walking at 4 mph per day.

The two steps together will help to budge the scale which should also help with the light at the end of the tunnel.

    We've come this far!!! :)
You are worth the extra effort.

The last ten is harder to lose... the more fat you have to lose the easier it is and the less risk of problems due to undereating.

If you haven't already, reset your goal to lose 0.5lb a week... you have to be more careful with logging if your deficit is smaller (more chance of errors cancelling out your deficit) but slow and steady really does work better for most people at this stage. Eating more protein really helps as well.

Strength training, if you're not doing that already, can help too, because it helps to ensure that the weight you're losing is just fat and not lean mass (the less you have to lose the more risk there is of this happening).... starting strength training can cause water weight gain (which is a good thing as your muscles are storing more glycogen) so the scale may not show a loss in *weight* but that doesn't mean you're not losing *fat* so track inch measurements and how your clothes fit as well, not just scale weight. It;s the excess fat you want to get rid of - strong muscles and bones are heavier than weak ones... but this won't increase your dress size... they get denser, not bigger. In fact a lot of women find that strength training makes them lose a dress size or two without much noticable difference in the scale, if they didn't have that much to lose to begin with.

Thank you both. Trying the low carbs is a good idea, I will give that a go. I know it's my own fault I was gaining back, I stopped exercising and logging :( i am going to start the strength training again and get out more. I guess I need to set myself up to lose these last 10 over a longer period than the rest.
    Thanks again.
