members keeping adding the wrong sodium amt

It seems at least once a week when I go to record new food I find a member has added the wrong sodium content. 0.1 grams of sodium is 100 mgs and 0.4 g of sodium on a food label is 400 mgs of sodium. Why is that the members keep placing zero on the sodium section when they add the food... or they place 1 mg for something that should actually be 100 milligrams. Do people not know how to convert grams to milligrams with sodium. this is a constant and pervasive issue on member added food on the fitness pal app.
Sorry I had to rant.

I find the same with the sodium, I keep correcting it, and some use the salt figure where sodium is not stated on packing
I think the sad truth is a lot of people are not good at maths and just do not understand the difference between milligramme and gramme, or even decimals0 -

Yup. I check everything, I'm not too worried over sodium, I know I don't go over very often, but I always check the calories, carbs, protein and fat. I actually wonder if some people enter in values that are false on purpose....0 -

I'm sure some do, but also manufacturers reformulate processed food, either for cost or health reasons, like less sugar, fat etc. So what was true last year is erroneous this year0 -
I just spent the last few minutes editing entries so that I could log them. Some were almost right but had a typo, but other's I think they just made up half the numbers. Makes me wonder what I've been logging incorrectly all this time because I just haven't checked0

Snap!
I have just had to edit an entry where yet again someone had entered the salt figure instead of the sodium figure0 -
Edit it with the correct amount and carry on with your day. Really not worth getting stressed about0

Well just edit it and move on. Why waste precious energy ranting?0
