So it says that a 1/2 cup of mixed Chinese crackers is 120 cals; however I'm not sure what cup size this is referring to, so about how many crackers would that be? Thanks!

A cup is an actual measurement of volume, 240ml.

However, crackers are not a liquid, so it wouldn't be an appropriate way to measure them. Weight in grams is the most accurate way, and that requires a food scale. It should show the weight of the serving in parenthesis.

Have you looked at the box to see the gram weight? It's in parentheses beside the cup measurement usually. Weigh out a serving on a food scale.

We have no clue what size these crackers are and can't tell you how many is in a serving.

    Volume is length*width*height.

Get out your ruler and measure length and width. You might need a caliper to measure the height of said crackers. Multiply the three measurements together.

    1 cup = 236.5 cubic centimeters.

Depending on the units of your measuring devices, you'll need to do the proper unit conversions.

    Good luck.

Get a digital food scale, and weigh absolutely everything you eat—even packaged foods.

After "1/2 cup" on the cracker label, there should be a metric weight in parentheses, for example, "1/2 cup (42g)." Many foods in the MFP database have serving sizes in 100g & 1g, for easy logging.
