As the subject says I lost 7 pound in 2 weeks since starting over again
Thats half a stone strikes me as been a bit quick and worried it makes me prone to rebounding
I have MFP set to 1 pound a week and eaten almost all my cals each day.
I have been very active this week at work this week and did not count this as exercise but even so 7 seems excessive
what do others think ?

I think you can forget about the '2 lbs/week' max loss thing in the first 2 weeks due to water loss.0

At your size, a healthy loss is 1 lb. per week. Don't panic! Your initial loss is mostly water & glycogen.
For good, basic information, please read the Sexypants post: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1080242-a-guide-to-get-you-started-on-your-path-to-sexypants0 -
That's exactly what I lost in my first two weeks, it'll roughly be 2 a week from now on.0

That's amazing Congratulation your 7 pounds closer to your goal0

Also, males tend to lose faster than females, especially if the exercise.0

I started May 31st, and today is July 5th, ive lost 26lbs. I feel like it is fast, but all I did was eat healthy, and change my workout habits.0

Is it towards the start of your journey? I lost 5lb one week, it happens. If you're a month in and you're still losing rapidly, you may have a problem and need to adjust your calories. A few weeks in? Relax. It takes a while for your body to settle.0

*mentions of 'time of the month', apologies for squick*
The week leading to my period, my loss halts. The week off, the first 3 days, I show a 'gain'. About 4 days in, like 5 freakin' pounds just drops off. Then another 2 the next week. The bulk of my monthly loss (which has been 8-10lbs per month for 6 months) happens in that time-frame. I'm fine. You'll be fine.0 -
I just started 4 days ago and have already lost 7.2lbs. I'm not worried. Some of it was just water loss, and some was my body reacting positively to some new changes. I'm just enjoying it while it lasts. The loss will slow down in the next few weeks as the body gets used to the new routine. I presume you are doing what I'm doing and eating up to your allocated calorie requirement that MFP has given you? That's what I'm doing.0
